Saint Vincent DePaul Society Needs Our HelpThe Saint Vincent DePaul Society is an active group of people within the Saint Joseph Catholic Church who provide for the less fortunate. Jesus asks us to feed the poor, clothe the naked and give drink to the thirsty. That is what this service organization tries to do. Due to high demand and low inventory of pantry items, SVDP needs our help. Students who bring in at least two nonperishable food items on either Thursday, Aug. 26th or Friday, August 27th will be eligible for an "Out of Uniform Day" on Friday August 27. Imagine if all the teachers and students are able to come together to bring 2 items into school, we would have over 300 different foods to help stock the pantry. Please help us in giving back to our community and the less fortunate.
Needed items include: peanut butter, jelly, diapers, canned meat, canned vegetables and fruit, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned or dried beans, family size cans of soup, soap, shampoo, etc.
